Plymouth Argyle are being linked with a potential move for Northern Ireland international Ross McCausland, with reports suggesting the club are interested in bringing the Rangers winger to Home Park this summer.
According to the Daily Record, Argyle are among the clubs monitoring the 21-year-old, who has already made 66 senior appearances for Rangers, scoring 7 goals. While no deal has yet been finalised, the rumoured fee is expected to fall between £1–1.5 million, should Argyle formalise their interest.
McCausland’s development at Ibrox has been closely watched over the past two seasons, with the winger showing versatility, energy, and an eye for goal in both domestic and European competition. His performances have also been recognised at international level, having already earned five senior caps for Northern Ireland.
With Tom Cleverley’s squad already undergoing a summer rebuild, McCausland would add proven pedigree and attacking intent to the wide areas. His potential arrival would be seen as a strong statement by the club as they prepare for a competitive League One campaign.
Interest in the winger has been circulating among club supporters in recent days, and while a deal is yet to be agreed, Argyle’s admiration for the player is thought to be genuine.
Further developments are expected in the coming weeks.
