Liverpool youngster Lewis Koumas is the subject of growing interest from the Championship, with both Sheffield United and Norwich City keen on the 19-year-old forward.
Koumas enjoyed a productive 2024/25 campaign on loan at Stoke City, featuring in 49 matches and netting six goals in all competitions. Despite Stoke’s turbulent season, the Welsh attacker emerged as a rare bright spot — showing versatility, creativity and composure beyond his years.
He’s now expected to go out on loan again for 2025/26, with Arne Slot assessing first-team prospects during pre-season before final decisions are made.
Blades and Canaries keen
Sheffield United, who narrowly missed out on promotion back to the Premier League, are understood to be long-time admirers of Koumas and see him as a strong addition to their attacking options.
Meanwhile, Norwich City are also in the mix. According to the Eastern Daily Press, the Canaries are looking to bring in two wide attackers this summer, and Koumas is firmly on their shortlist.
With Liverpool known for maintaining strong loan relationships with both clubs — including past deals for Rhian Brewster, Ben Davies and Kaide Gordon — talks are expected to progress swiftly.
Koumas remains under contract at Anfield and any loan will be contingent on guaranteed minutes at Championship level.
