Barrow have completed the signing of midfielder Regan Booty from Gateshead on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old becomes the latest addition to the Bluebirds’ squad ahead of the 2025/26 Sky Bet League Two season, and will wear the number 22 shirt. He will travel with the squad for Saturday’s friendly away at Tamworth.
Booty enjoyed a standout two-year spell at Gateshead, playing a key role in the club’s 2024 FA Trophy triumph at Wembley and contributing to 14 goals and assists across 43 appearances last season. A technically gifted and creative midfielder, he brings proven pedigree at National League level and a strong track record of end product from deep.
The Huddersfield-born player came through the academy at Huddersfield Town and captained their U23s before gaining senior experience on loan at Aldershot Town, where he made 33 appearances in 2018/19. After being released by the Terriers, he had short spells at Notts County and then Maidstone United, where he played 74 times and helped the Stones to promotion from National League South.
Speaking to the club’s media, Booty said:

Booty becomes the latest summer addition to Pete Wild’s side as they aim to build on last season and make a strong push in League Two.
