Norwich City have secured the signing of defensive midfielder Mirko Topić from Portuguese club Famalicão on a four-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional year. The 24-year-old Serbian international will don the number 22 shirt at Carrow Road.
City are understood to have paid a fee in the region of £3 million, with a further £430,000 in potential add-ons, bringing in a player they have been monitoring closely for over a year.

Born in Novi Sad, Serbia’s second-largest city, Topić began his football journey with Vojvodina, the club from his hometown. He made 113 first-team appearances between 2019 and 2023 and won the Serbian Cup in 2020.
In 2023, he joined Famalicão in Portugal’s Primeira Liga, where he has since developed into a reliable top-flight midfielder, making 69 appearances in all competitions across two seasons.
On the international stage, he made his senior debut for Serbia against the United States in January 2023, just shy of his 22nd birthday. He now has four full caps, having represented his country at U18, U19, and U21 levels.
