Salford City have completed the signing of experienced midfielder Jorge Grant on a two-year deal, following his departure from Hearts.
The 30-year-old brings a wealth of EFL and Scottish Premiership experience to the Peninsula Stadium, having made over 100 appearances for Hearts and previously featured for Nottingham Forest, Notts County, Lincoln City, and Luton Town.
Grant made headlines during his loan at Notts County in 2017/18, scoring 15 League Two goals and earning a spot in the PFA Team of the Year. He later played a key role in Luton Town’s League One title win and was again named in the PFA Team of the Year while at Lincoln.
Speaking after signing, Grant said:
“I’m really happy. This has been in the pipeline for a few weeks, so I’m delighted to be here now.
My target is promotion. The team just missed out last year, so it’s important there’s no hangover from that – we move forward and go one better this season.”
