Wycombe Wanderers have completed the signing of Ewan Henderson from Belgian Pro League side Beerschot, subject to EFL, FA, and international clearance.
The 25-year-old midfielder becomes the Chairboys’ eighth addition of the summer window, bringing with him valuable experience from top-flight football in both Scotland and Belgium.
A product of Celtic’s academy, Henderson made 11 senior appearances for the Glasgow giants before spells with Hibernian, Oostende, and most recently, Beerschot. A former Scotland youth international, he is widely regarded as a dynamic, box-to-box presence.
🔵 Mike Dodds, Wycombe Head Coach, said:
“Ewan’s a really energetic midfielder who’s had a great start to his career in the top flights in Scotland and Belgium. He gives us another dimension in the middle of the park. He’s played a lot of football in the past three years which stands him in good stead to come here and hit the ground running.”
🔵 Tom Stockwell, Director of Football Strategy, added:
“Ewan is an exciting and well-rounded midfielder who can score, assist, break up play and build from deep. His technical ability and tactical flexibility make him exactly the profile we wanted.”
Henderson will wear squad number 20 at Adams Park.
