Blackpool have secured the signing of winger Malcolm Ebiowei from Premier League side Crystal Palace on a permanent deal.
The 21-year-old has signed a two-year contract at Bloomfield Road, with the Seasiders holding the option to extend his stay by a further 12 months. He becomes one of the club’s marquee summer arrivals as Steve Bruce looks to guide Blackpool back towards the Championship.
Ebiowei will join up with the squad immediately and is expected to be available for selection ahead of the weekend’s trip to Exeter City.

From Premier League to League One – Ebiowei’s Journey
Ebiowei is a product of some of English football’s most prestigious academies, having spent time at Chelsea, Arsenal and Rangers before finding his breakthrough at Derby County during the 2021/22 campaign.
Under then-manager Wayne Rooney, he made 18 senior appearances for the Rams, scoring once — against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road — and quickly gained attention for his pace, flair and one-on-one ability. That form earned him a five-year move to Crystal Palace in the summer of 2022.
Although first-team chances were limited at Selhurst Park, he gained experience with loan spells at Hull City, Oxford United, and Belgian top-flight side RWD Molenbeek.
