Southampton have turned down a fresh £43m offer from Everton for winger Tyler Dibling, with the Championship side holding firm on their valuation of the highly rated teenager.

According to Sky Sports, the bid included £35m up front and a further £8m in add-ons. However, it still falls short of the £45m Southampton are demanding to part ways with the 19-year-old talent.

🔁 Premier League Pressure

Dibling has been linked with a move away from St Mary’s all summer, with Everton the most persistent of his suitors. He impressed last season despite Southampton’s relegation, and is now seen as one of the standout talents outside the top flight.

With Southampton losing Kamaldeen Sulemana (Atalanta), Jan Bednarek (Porto), and Aaron Ramsdale (Newcastle, loan), they’re reluctant to sanction another major exit unless their asking price is met in full.

🔎 Deal Still Possible?

While Southampton have so far stood their ground, transfer insider Ben Jacobs has suggested that a straight £40m fixed fee could bring them to the table. There remains optimism that a compromise can be reached before the window closes.

Everton are known to be in the market for a wide forward and are pushing hard to finalise their summer business. Dibling fits the profile — homegrown, technical, and with strong resale potential.

🎯 Southampton’s Stand

New boss Will Still is keen to keep Dibling as part of his core squad, and the winger is expected to feature in their Championship opener. Barring a sudden breakthrough in talks, he looks set to stay put — for now.

Whether Southampton’s resolve holds in the final weeks of the window remains to be seen, but any deal will need to meet their full valuation. For Everton, time is running out.
